Children learn essential digital skills including computer literacy, internet safety, productivity software and emerging technologies that prepare them for education, employment and entrepreneurship in an increasingly digital world.
How Rooted Futures Works
Textiles & Craft
Children develop practical sewing and tailoring skills while creating school uniforms, reusable sanitary pads, bags and other products that build creativity, confidence and entrepreneurial experience.
Climate-Smart Agriculture
Through climate-smart agriculture, they learn sustainable farming, water conservation, tree planting and environmental stewardship. They grow nutritious food, develop practical skills & discover how caring for the environment creates stronger, healthier communities.
A Model of Sustainability
Reducing dependence on external aid is our ultimate goal. By training children who later return as skilled employees of the Healing Roots Foundation, we create a self-sustaining cycle of empowerment that secures the foundation's future and theirs.
